you have questions? weâve got answers!
What if I have no idea what I want my wedding to look like?
Thatâs absolutely okayâtruly. Whether you're booking a full-service planning or our Design & Creative Direction package, youâll receive complete design support. Uncovering your unique style is one of our favorite parts of the process. Weâll guide you with thoughtful questions and curated inspiration to craft a wedding design that feels unmistakably you. Often, itâs easier to respond to a look than to dream it up yourself. If you donât love it, we will work with you until it is just right!
Whatâs the difference between a wedding planner and a wedding designer?
A wedding planner focuses on managing the logistics of your celebrationâthink timelines, vendor coordination, and the behind-the-scenes details. While they may take inspiration from your Pinterest board and refer you to vendors who can help bring your vision to life, the design is often based solely on what you provide.
As wedding designers, we take things several steps further. We not only plan your day with precision, but we also craft the full visual story of your wedding. Your Pinterest board may be a starting pointâbut we know that whatâs been done before doesnât always reflect whatâs you. Whether you have a crystal-clear vision or feel completely unsure, weâre here to help uncover what you love by asking the right questions. From there, we translate your personal style, values, and dreams into a design concept that feels bespoke, cohesive, and breathtaking. âI didnât even know I wanted thatâ and âYou took my simple idea and turned it into magicâ are the kinds of compliments we hear oftenâand never take for granted.
How much decision-making power do I have if I hire you as a full-service planner?
Youâre always in controlâwe simply bring our creativity, expertise, and industry insights to the table to give you exceptional options to consider. This is your day, your vision, your story. If something doesnât feel right, weâll pivot with grace until it does. Thereâs no ego hereâjust endless inspiration and thoughtful collaboration to get it just right.
Whatâs the difference between a wedding planner and a wedding coordinator?
Wedding coordinators focus on the day-of execution. They step in closer to your wedding date, confirm logistics, manage vendor communication, and make sure everything flows smoothly on the big day. Many coordinators work seasonally or part-time and focus solely on the final stages.
While we are full-service planners, we also offer coordination services. The difference? As experienced planners, weâre equipped to anticipate and gracefully handle any curveballs the day may bring. As an added bonus, our Coaching & Coordination couples also receive valuable planning advice throughout the processânot just day-of supportâso you benefit from our knowledge and guidance well before you walk down the aisle.
Who will I be working with?
We donât outsource our planning services. Youâll work directly with one of our owners, Anna or Rachelle, from your first meeting through your wedding dayâensuring a deeply personal, highly attentive planning experience.
What if I decide I need more support after weâve already started working together?
Thatâs completely okayâand actually, it happens. Sometimes itâs the time commitment, or the overwhelming number of decisions. Other times itâs the stress of juggling details without the industry knowledge to feel confident in your choices. And sometimes, couples simply realize they want planning to feel less like a second job and more like a joyful, creative experience.
Whatever the reason, weâre here for you. If at any point youâd like to upgrade your package, weâll walk you through your options and adjust your plan to fit your needs. Any payments youâve made will be applied toward your new package, which will be priced at the rate in place at the time of the upgrade.
When are you available to meet during the planning process?
We understand that most of our couples are balancing full-time careers and full livesâwhich donât typically include wedding planning! Thatâs why we offer evening and select weekend availability to ensure you always feel supported and heard.
How do you keep everything organized throughout the planning process?
We use a collaborative online platform called Aisle Planner to keep everyone aligned and on track. It houses your planning timeline, vendor details, contracts, proposals, budget, guest list, floorplans, and moreâall in one central hub. It even includes a drag-and-drop guest seating feature. Every client receives access to Aisle Planner, whether you're working with us for full planning, design, or coordination.
Do I have to pay for everything up front, and what forms of payment do you accept?
Not at all. Depending on the service selected, payments are typically divided into three or four installments throughout the planning process, with the final balance due 2â4 weeks before your wedding. We accept checks, cash, Venmo, and credit cards (please note, a small processing fee applies to card payments).
